End of a Great Weekend!

It’s the end of the weekend and we really enjoyed having my mom and Gunnar here. Lilly was very, very excited to see them!! Really…an hour of squeals and screams before she calmed down.

Mom and Gunnar went to therapy Friday and were very pleased with the progress Lilly has made. The Kenny Rogers Children’s Center is gearing up for their telethon in March. They were shooting some TV spots and all of us got in on the action! We were just in the background doing “therapy” with Lilly but Gunnar thought it was pretty cool! And we saw a L.A. Dodger! He is from Sikeston and now plays in the majors. Pretty cool! I can’t tell you what his name is but anyone from Sikeston can.

We spent one evening at a hotel here in town so the kids could go swimming. They enjoyed themselves! The pool actually was half indoors and half outside. There are some pics of Gunnar below. They headed back home this morning and we miss them already!

Well, tomorrow starts week 3. It is our last one. I am ready to be at home but will miss everyone here at the Children’s Center and the Bryant’s. They don’t recommend that you do this type of therapy all the time so I guess it has to end sometime. Can’t wait to see how things go!
