It was a great day today! Lilly was still very upset about PT today but today she participated much more. On the treadmill she was doing a lot of the walking on her own. Then it was time for the gait trainer. We found a new motivator.....oranges! She took about 30 consecutive steps today getting an orange bite about every 5 steps. We were so happy!!! Of course my camera was in the room charging! It was so wonderful to see. After that she took a few steps here and there but 30 steps was awesome!!! I really appreciate all the encouragment from friends and family b/c it is so hard to see her screaming. You know it is for her good and you know that it's not hurting her but it breaks your heart anyway. I want to be strong for her but she is still my baby. Her therapist says that there will come a time when it clicks with her but she can't tell me when that will be. I guess her crystal ball is broken!: ) I'll be glad when that day comes.

We have had a great improvement in Lilly's drooling. She had some regression this weekend. Some coughing, choking and gurgling. Her therapist had warned me that that was the trend with other kids. But today she had very, very little drool in her hood after hbot. Our last treatment will be Friday. We are looking for another therapist in Spfld that can continue the treatment.

Lilly and I wanted to say thank you to her preschool class back in Ozark. They sent Lilly a card last week and we enjoyed it so much!!! Each of the kids pictures are in it along with a message. Lilly misses all of you and can't wait to get back to school and her classmates. The kids are so cute with her and she loves being around them. Watch out b/c she is more verbal and she definitely knows what she wants and she has no problem telling you about it!!! Have a great Thanksgiving break and we will see you in December!!

Thanks again for all you support and prayers. We feel so blessed to have the friends and family that we do. You are the best!!! Can't wait to come home...we miss it so bad!
