Great and Tiring Day!

Lilly worked so hard today. She took 1 1/2 hr nap today and then was in bed by 7:00! We had our 2 HBOT dives, 3 hrs of PT and then speech therapy. Lilly started out today in therapy without wearing her braces. Her braces keep her feet and ankles in line. They wondered if she was strong enough to work without them. She made it through about an 1 1/2 hrs without them. Then she was just too tired. Once they put them on she was better and we went on to walking. She did great today!! She had two separate times that she took 25 and 17 consecutive steps! Everything about the form looked perfect! I think her brain is making so connections!! No shuffling or anything! I would show you the video but her therapist had on the wrong pants today!! Sorry, Tiffany! Her speech therapist is very happy with her progress. Her swallows are clear, she is not gurgling her drink or saliva and not leaking any food out her mouth while eating. It is all little steps that have to build on each other. We were able to put the electrodes on her cheeks today. You could actually see one side of her mouth draw down and get tighter. Our hope with that is she would have better lip closure and not drool or loose her juice when drinking. Very good day!! I wanted to post a video of Lilly playing and not crying. Good change of pace!! You can't see it but she is on her knees and playing on the seat of the couch. No support! She is getting so much stronger!! Thanks for the prayers and support! Tara
