Hello! We have had a good day today! The sun is out and it is a little warmer. Makes the walk over to the center more enjoyable. It is only about a 5-6 min. walk. So convenient! The hotel here is so nice and accommodating to our needs. Everyone always asks what it is like so I took pics of our room today.

We started speech therapy today. The therapist uses "vital stem". They use it with older patients a lot. Electrodes are placed on the throat and face to train the muscles used in swallowing. Mr. Paul worked with Lilly for about an hour and thought we should have some great results. Our goal is to help, possibly quit, drooling. Have better lip closure so she doesn't loose liquids out the side of her mouth when drinking. Eat and chew better and faster. He said he had treated people with out hyperbaric therapy and people while going through hyperbaric and the group with the two combined responded more quickly. He had personally seen these results in his own child. We'll see!!
Thank you Robyn for calling me about the paper! Robyn Russell and I did an interview with the Christian County Headliner about our two little blessings. Check out link at the top of this post. Crazy story about how the story came about. I left a message for a contact person for Ozark Rotary Club about donations for Lilly's therapy. Little did I know that she was the editor of the newspaper! Don't know what God's plan is for the article but I hope it helps someone! Well better get to bed...Night, night!
