I took the weekend off.....hope you don't mind. My mom and Gunnar came up and we painted the town red! Spent most of the day Saturday seeing the sights and enjoying snuggling with my little man. It was a great weekend! Thanks Mom!
Today started off great! Lilly actually didn't cry till about 1 1/2 hr into therapy!! She loves walking on the treadmill and standing in the cage. I know Justin George could weld me one but I would have to buy a new house to put it in!! Lilly did a lot of verbalizing while standing in the cage. We were playing with bubbles and she sure was making the "b" sounds and using the sign for "more". We have worked on that for so long. It's like things are clicking!
The most exciting part came when she did her walking in the gait trainer. Last week she would probably take ~10-12 steps with her right foot during the 30 min of walking. Today she picked up her right foot and stepped with EVERY step!!! Praise the Lord!! I was fighting back tears. I probably should have cried but I have issues! (That's for you Kelly : ) ) Of course I had just run out of video tape! Tomorrow I promise!! Well of course I had Tiffany write down the exact part numbers and everything to get one ordered.
I am going to try the video from the previous sessions. Once again, I do not promise anything! Look for it soon! Miss everyone a lot! Tara

Looks like Lilly is indeed having a big adventure (mom too). So great to hear about all of the exciting things she is doing. And as long as she's not wearing stripes on a Sunday, I think Perry will be pleased as well! We love you guys! Debby
