Back on the Wagon

Diving Buddies L-R: Momma Joanna, daughter Erica, Hailey and Dad Brian, Susan HBOT helper and Sara

Well, we're back on it. Lilly had a great day. Thanks for all your uplifting comments and prayers. This has been a very emotional journey. I guess that is to be expected.

Lilly has been stepping with her right foot and today she started on the left. She took some continuous steps today. Like left, right, left, right by herself. It's clicking! But in true Lilly style, she is trying to cheat but Tiffany has her number!! Tiffany is so great...she is very encouraging but not too soft on her. I have had to shift some of my goals. Lilly seems more interested in the walking than the crawling. We're still working on crawling but she really likes being upright. Whatever motivates her most to move!!

This is our last week with some of our diving buddies. We are really going to miss them! We have made friends for life. It is really great being around the other families. Erica had a massive seizure caused by a vaccine reaction resulting in a brain injury. Hailey has autism and Sara has a brain injury from a car accident. We have all bonded and learned so much from each other. Everyone here is great!

I posted new pictures but I still can't figure out the video part and I'm giving up!!! If any of you know the best way to share video, please post a comment and give me instructions. Craig and Gunnar will be here tomorrow and I can't wait!!! I miss having my family together. I didn't realize that till I came here. Lots of lessons have been learned on this journey! Have a great night!

This is so good to see. There is a thing to add videos where you add pictures but I'm sure you've already seen that. I'm sorry I'm help. I haven't been able to get it to work. My advice from my buddy was too use the video thing at the same place as the picture thing (well in my words, but that is basically what he said.) I didn't bother to tell him, "Duh." because I'm sure he was honestly trying to help. I sure am glad to see the pictures and get the reports. Hang tough Tara. Go Lilly GO!
